Diana Heald, 73, of DeWitt died on Tuesday.
Diana, beloved mother, sister, and daughter. She was born in Langley, Virginia and has seen much of the country before settling in Syracuse as her home and surrounded herself with friends and family, including her then-husband, Paul Bostain, and two Children, James and Joshua, nephew Jason Sheets as well as many others she had unofficially adopted along the way. Though she graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a B.S. in Zoology she went on to become a pioneer as a woman in the tech industry, starting as a Mainframe programmer for American Airlines and going on to a long and successful career that she loved. Diana is survived by two sons; Joshua and James Bostain, two sisters; Deborah and Mary, brother Rush and nephew; Jason.
Services will be Wednesday 4pm at Bellewood Baptist Church, 445 Church St., N. Syracuse.
