Diana G. (Finch) Holbrook, 68, of Cicero, passed away at home on Tuesday surrounded by her family after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Born on March 21, 1947 in Fabius, NY where she met and married the love of her life, Richard Holbrook. They had just celebrated 47th anniversary this summer. After retiring from Mutual of New York after 18 years of employment, she has enjoyed the last 19 years watching her grandchildren grow up and witnessing their various milestones and achievements. She had a tremendous heart, a wonderful sense of humor and a contagious laugh. Diana was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. Diana was a member of the Cicero United Methodist Church and was very strong in her faith.
She was predeceased by her parents, Edwin Finch and Janis (Camp) Finch.
Surviving is her husband, Richard; daughter, Suzanne LeClair and daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca L. and Paul Motondo; beloved grandsons, Alexander, Justin and Luke LeClair; sister, Judith Sullivan; brothers, James (Sue), Jerald (Theresa) and Richard (Dorinda) Finch and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Sunday 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse.
A funeral service will be Monday 1PM at Cicero United Methodist Church, Route 11, Cicero with burial to follow in North Syracuse Cemetery.
