Derek Richard "Jackson" Weiland, 23, of Brewerton, passed away on Sunday.
Derek was an avid outdoorsman with his Dad, who enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and loved riding his motorcycle. He was a loving son, best friend and brother. Derek had an infectious smile and a passion for life and loved to make people laugh.
Derek is survived by his parents, Tobie and Richard Weiland; sister, Brooke; many aunts, uncles and cousins; paternal grandfather, Charles Weiland; maternal grandmother, Elaine Cortright, many friends and loving girlfriend, Tatiana McGrath.
Calling hours will be Thursday, July 28th 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 7PM.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Humane Association of CNY, PO Box 38, 4915 ½ W. Taft Rd., Liverpool, NY 13088.
