Dennis Frederick Brown, 61, of North Syracuse passed away peacefully with his wife at his side after a long battle with cancer. He was a loving husband, hard worker and a good friend. Born in Gloversville, NY, he was a driver for Dot Foods and a Marine veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired from the Teamsters local 317. He was an outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Patricia Ann Deapo Leo Brown; his mother, Thelma Balch; step-son, John Benedict; daughter, Deborah Richards; grandchildren, Joshua, Daniel and Deeann Richards; 3 great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; brother, Gary Brown; sister, Susan Gebhardt; several nieces and nephews.
Keeping with Dennis' wishes, there will be no Service or calling hours.
