Denise M. Vanmarter

Denise "Denny" Marie VanMarter of Liverpool passed away unexpectedly on January 20, 2023,
while vacationing in Ormond Beach, Florida with her family.

Predeceased by her parents, Denny was born on January 17, 1954, to Willis and Edna
(Eggleston) VanMarter. A native of North Syracuse, Denny graduated from Cicero High School
in 1972. After graduating, she spent a large part of her career as a professional painter and
handyman, culminating as director of maintenance for Park Rose Estates in Liverpool before
retiring in 2021. In her free time, Denny enjoyed traveling, fishing at her camp, and spending
time with her friends and family.

Denny is survived by her loving partner Carol Yager, sister Deborah Tuffley, brother Willis "Bill"
VanMarter, brother Kevin (Maryellen) VanMarter, and brother Dennis (Elizabeth) VanMarter.
Surviving members of Denny's extended family include mother Esther Yager, sister Diane
(Michael) Napoleone of Virginia, brother David (Kimberly) Yager, and brother Joseph (Sharon)
Yager. Denny is also survived by countless nephews and nieces who adored, and were adored,
by their beloved "Aunt Denny,"

Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 27th from 4:00 - 7:00pm at New Comer Cremations
& Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services to follow on Saturday, January 28th at
10:30am at the funeral home.
