Delores Kathleen (Forbes) Staniec passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital on Thursday with family by her side. She was born in Knoxville, TN and she lived most of her life in the Syracuse area. She was employed at GE and retired from Microwave Filter. She was predeceased by her parents, Elvira & Evard Forbes, first husband, William Staniec Sr., brother, Pat Curcio & sister, Rose Cozza.
Surviving are her spouse, Russ Walton, son William (Rebecca), daughter, Christine, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sister, Linda (Joe) Saenz Troiano, along with nieces and nephews.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to American Cancer Society or to the Chronic Disease Fund.
