Della A. Balson, 91, of Liverpool, passed away on Monday. Della was born on May 6th 1924 in East Syracuse, NY the daughter of Anson & Emma Waltz. She joined the Navy during WWII. There she met Thomas Bokalosky & they were married on Feb. 11th 1944. They were married for 66 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Tom and her sons Tom and Joseph and granddaughter, Nicky.
Survivors include her 2 sons, James (Dawn) and William (Nancy) as well as 6 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, sister, Hazel and nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be on Friday September 4th at 12 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St. North Syracuse, NY. A funeral service will follow at 1pm.
