Debra L. (Fedele) Goodson, 58, of Cicero, went to be with the Lord on Friday, after a 10 year courageous battle with cancer. Debra started her nursing career at St. Joseph's Hospital and spent the last 35 years working with Dr. Enrique Armenta at CNY Plastic Surgeons. She was the first female fire fighter for North Syracuse Vol. Fire Dept. and volunteered with NAVAC. Debra was a past president with the Knights of Columbus Columbiettes. She is predeceased by her mother, Doreen (Swanson) Fedele and brother, Nicholas Fedele.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Clarence; son, Caleb; father, Vincent Fedele; sisters, Kathy (Daniel) Pabis and Mary (Steven) Schug; brothers, Vincent (Anna) Fedele and Daniel (Danielle) Fedele; step sons, Clarence III (Cindy) and Edward (Laura); four step grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Tuesday, 10 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will follow at the North Syracuse Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
