Deborah Ann Kratz

Deborah Ann Kratz, 57, of Liverpool, passed away April 27, 2024.

Deborah was born in Syracuse, New York on March 29, 1967 to Edmund R. and Carol Ann Sorts.

Deborah worked at Wegmans for over 25 years in various positions, but she was most experienced in the Specialty Cheese shop. She was an avid gardener, loved sitting poolside and traveling to Alexandria Bay. She was an excellent cook and made the best chicken riggies. Most of all she was a passionate mother who also enjoyed spending time with her family and her beloved golden retriever, Wriggley.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edmund R. Sorts.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Kevin Kratz; daughter, Leanne R. Kratz; mom, Carol Ann Sorts; twin sister, Lynn M. Thiergart; sister, Cheryl R. (Brian) Pudney; brother, Jeffrey M. (Kimberly) Sorts; father in law, Ronald Kratz; mother in law, Judith E. Kratz; sister in law, Donna Morrow; brother in law, Darryl Kratz; as well as many, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will take place on Sunday from 1-4pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. Services and burial will be private.
