Deborah S. Brown

Deborah S. Brown, 72, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Monday November 25, 2024, at her home surrounded by family. Deborah was born on September 1, 1952 in St. John's, Newfoundland, daughter of the late Earl and Marion Stout. Deborah retired from Syracuse University after 35 years of service. Deborah was predeceased by her brother, James Stout. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Stephen Brown, 2 daughters, Kristen (Nick) Rodriguez, Meryl (Rickie) Billy, 6 grandchildren, Grace, Alex, Jaxton, Landon, Brayden, Callen, sister, Sandy Hesson, brother, David (Sue) Stout, sister-in-law, Suzanne Stout, and her sheltie, Charlie, along with nieces and nephews. 

Debbie was known for her great sense of humor, love of family, and was always ready for a game of cards.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
