Debora A. Miller

Debora A. Miller, 69, of Syracuse, passed away on May 24, 2023 after bravely fighting kidney disease for many years. Debora was born in Syracuse, New York on June 25, 1953 to Joseph and Frances Cahalan. She graduated from St. Patrick's High School, class of 1972. Debora retired from Porter Elementary School, where she was employed as a lunch aid for over 30 years. In her free time, she enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren. They were always playing games together. Debora's favorite place was Selkirk Shores.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wayne Miller; mother, Frances; father, Joseph Cahalan; and sister, Susan Cahalan.

Debora is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Walker, Carrie Walker; two sons, David Walker, Sean Miller; three grandchildren, Diamond Foster, Madilynn Miller, Sean Miller; great-granddaughter, Yanilez A. Pizaro; sister, Christine Dodge; her two cats, Archie and Precious, and dog Bella whom she adored; and several Nieces and Nephews.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 4-7PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, where a funeral service will follow at 7PM.
