Debora J. Byrns

Debora J. Byrns, 69, of Clay, passed away at Loretto with family by her side, after a brief illness on December 22, 2024. Debora was born in Syracuse, New York on March 29, 1955 to Robert and Donna Byrns. 

 Debora retired from Wegmans after several years of employment. She was an avid reader, huge fan of Stephen King novels, and scary movies. With her gentle nature she cared endlessly for her cats. Family gatherings and cookouts were her favorite times for laughing, her generosity and kindness were immeasurable. Debora will be dearly missed. 

 She was preceded in death by father, Robert E. Byrns; mother, Donna M. (Zinsmeyer) Byrns; and sister, Laurie Byrns. 

 She is survived by her four sisters, Kathy Harrington, Karen (Henry) Hinman, Diane Byrns, Christine Byrns; two brothers, Robert E. (Rebecca) Byrns, Jr., David Byrns; and several nieces and nephews.

 Per Debora’s wishes there will be no services.

 Memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA, an organization close to her heart.
