Deanne M. Prell, 65, of Cicero, passed away on Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born on October 14, 1946 in Syracuse, daughter of predeceased Bernadine Verzino & Archie Ellis. Deanne retired from NY Telephone/Verizon. She was a member of the Smokin Gun Alliance RC, ABATE of Onondaga County, patron member of NRA and K of C.
Surviving are her husband Michael F. Prell, of 17 years, 2 daughters; Michelle (Jim) Corapi, Danielle Izzo, son Lewis (Megan) Izzo, AZ, 3 grandchildren; Joseph & Timothy Corapi, Alexia Izzo, sister, Deleen Ellis (Bob Cliff), step father, Anthony Verzino Jr., several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Doreen VanSleet.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, with services to follow.
Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association CNY Chapter, 441 W. Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
