Dawn M. Davis, 55, of East Syracuse, passed away on Tuesday at Iroquois Nursing Home with her family by her side.
She was born on September 1, 1957 in Syracuse, daughter of Daniel (Judy) Davis and Joan (Larn) Ryals. She was last employed as an account manager for Onondaga County. She received her Associates Degree from CCBI in 1990. Dawn enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, reading, being with her family and she was very involved in her Native Heritage. She was predeceased by her father, Daniel.
Surviving are her son, Dakoda Grijalva-Davis, granddaughter, Jaydin DeMario, father of her children, Francisco (Toni) Grijalva, daughter, Alexis Nicole Davis, mother, Joan (Huck) Ryals, step mother, Judy Davis, 6 sisters, Sharon Kelley, Brenda (Rick) Cavanaugh, Dona Messinger (Scott), Danette Davis, Doreen (Curt) Davis-Cooper, Bobbie Jo (Mike) Massena, brother, John (Julie) Ryals, cousin, Chuckie (Winona) Davis, special friend Debbie Bushnell, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 1-3pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, with services to follow.
