Dawn E. Roberts, 68, of Bridgeport, passed away on Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born in Syracuse
Daughter of the late James and Helen MacDowell. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren as some called her GG. She loved SU Basketball, Facebook, needle point and especially her 3 Dachshunds. She was predeceased by her husband, Fredrick C. Roberts in 2008.
Surviving are her partner of 25 years, Butch Ferguson, 4 children; Timothy (Dawn), Tracy Roberts, Thomas, Tricia (Sam) Colosi, stepdaughter, Michelle Pritchett, 9 grandchildren; Lisa, Amie, Thomas, Brittney, Joedi, Kayla, Michael, Timmy, Frankie, 2 step grandchildren, Landen & Sara,10 great grandchildren, her brother Daniel MacDowell and her 2 sisters, Laurie (Donald) McFall, Tamara (Tom) Owen, along with several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday 10am at Pine Plains Cemetery, North Manlius.
