Dawn M. Backus, 56, passed away on Thursday. Dawn was a great care taker and loved all her children and grandchildren dearly. She loved to cook, the beach, home and gardening, shopping and especially playing with her grandkids.
She is predeceased by her father, Leeland Backus.
She is survived by her loving Husband of 30 years, Larry M. Zoll; mother, Maryann Smolsey; Sisters, Colleen Delaski and Brenda Twist; Sons, Jedediah J. (Mary Russell) Zoll, Zachariah Z. Zoll and Larry M. (Samantha Klink) Zoll; Daughters, Genevieve Zoll and Victoria (Heather) Watkins; Grandchildren, Gabriel Kulas, Caleb Kulas, Kobe Zoll, Alexa Zoll, Jace Zoll, Lily Zoll, Jaida Zoll, Tate Zoll and Aubree Zoll.
A calling hour will take place Wednesday from 4-5 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. A service will follow immediately after.
