David V. Van Wagner

David V. Van Wagner, 55, of Syracuse, passed away suddenly on October 3, 2024. David was born in Syracuse on September 22, 1969 to Thomas and Maggie (Vincent) Van Wagner. David was working at Tops in Shop City Mall. He was an awesome carpenter and made many beautiful pieces of furniture. He loved his family and friends and was always willing to help others. He enjoyed going to concerts and was also a huge animal lover & advocate.

He is survived by his daughter, Victoria Van Wagner, his son, Kepler Van Wagner, mother, Maggie (Vincent) Van Wagner Amidon, his father, Thomas Van Wagner of Brazil and step father, John Amidon.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 3-4pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with a service at 4pm.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to North Shore Animal League, 16 Lewyt St., Port Washington, NY 11050.
