David C. Stone, 47, of Central Square entered into eternal rest on Tuesday December 15, 2020. David was predeceased by his parents, Beryl G. & Shirley A. (Walts) Stone and his niece Cheryl Ann Stone.
David is survived by his, fiance, Carrie Langley, son Dustin Stone, step-daughter, Tess Tracy, step-son, Andrew Dashnaw, grandchildren Ryan David and Daisy Mae Stone of Georgia. David is also survived by his siblings; Beryl (Kimberly) Stone, Jr., Cheryl (Brian) Parker, Bruce (Myrna) Stone, Donna (Mike) Weaver, Gerald (Mary) Stone, God-daughter, Megan Parker, best friend, Donald Parker, dog companion, Mia.
David worked as a heavy equipment operator for Route 84 Enterprises for over 20 years prior with LLP Construction. David was currently the President of The Carley Mills Cemetery Association. He was a past member of the Hastings Volunteer Fire Dept.
David was truly a family man. He loved deeply and unconditionally. He had a great sense of humor and an infectious smile. He was always there to lend a helping hand to whomever was in need. He loved spending quality time with his family and friends, sitting around a bonfire, he loved to watch the marine vessels come in to the St. Lawrence River. David left his mark in this world and to all those that knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carley Mills Cemetery Association, 1009 County Rte. 84, Central Square, NY 13036.
