David J. Slowik

David James Slowik, 52, passed away on September 16, 2022 following a long illness.

David is survived by his devoted, long-time companion and fiance, Jean M. Presley; his Parents, James and Kathleen Slowik of West Virginia; Sisters, Stephanie (George) of West Virginia; Amanda Hunt of Pennsylvania and Alicia Lynch of Phoenix, NY. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

David worked at various jobs throughout his life, but was most passionate about working on cars, particularly race cars. He was very talented at repairing almost anything, and was always ready and willing to help others. David maintained many friendships through his various interests and hobbies, including CB radio club to which he belonged for years.

David will be forever missed but always remembered for his outgoing personality, willingness and eagerness to help others, his sense of humor (and, of course, for his love of all things Leopard!)

Visitation will take place on Friday, September 30 from 4-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service to follow at 7 PM.
