David B. Sikorski

David B. Sikorski, 76, of Cicero, passed away November 10, 2024. David was born in Buffalo, New York on June 11, 1948, to Bernard and Marion Sikorski. 

David took great pride in his Polish heritage. Upon graduating from High School, he served in the United States Air Force Reserves. He was a man of many talents and could fix just about anything. He was an avid outdoorsman, finding joy in activities from fishing, boating, golfing, and riding his Harley. He felt a profound freedom in riding his Harley, traveling all throughout the country. He was a member of the Patriot Guard for many years. 

David spent quality time with his family, fishing on their boat on Lake Ontario and steelhead fishing on the Salmon River. Many spring vacations where spent at the cottage in Addison, NY. Not only was David a man of many outdoor talents, he had a knack for indoor hobbies as well. He was an avid bowler and played darts with a beer in hand. You could find him on Friday nights at the Cicero American Legion for their Friday night Fish Fry's. Endless nights were spent playing pitch with family and friends. As his daughter Tracy would say, he was "spicy." He had a witty sense of humor and never ceased to make you laugh... you just had to get the joke. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Marion Sikorski. 

David is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Georgia Sikorski; son, Christopher (Tia) Sikorski; daughter, Tracy (Tim) Mills; grandchildren, Tyler (Kelsey), Austin (Makenzie), Brady, Trevor, Jenna and Victoria; great granddaughter, Brynlee; siblings, Claudia Moser, Michaeline Maslowski, Tammy Derkovitz and Dale Sikorski; and many nieces and nephews. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Cicero American Legion, 5575 Legionnaire Drive, Cicero, NY on November 24, 2024 at 1:00pm. In honor of David, the family requests that family and friends wear Harley Davidson apparel.

Contributions may be made, in memory of David, to the Patriot Guard Riders in honor of his service to those in need and the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
