David S. Santola

David S. Santola, 66, of Liverpool, passed away suddenly on Friday, July 30th surrounded by his family.

Dave retired as a Foreman after 37 years with Onondaga County DOT. He enjoyed NASCAR and was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan for many years. Dave loved his dogs, Rosie and Jewels and spending every moment he could with Denise at their camp at Bass lake Resort.

He was predeceased by his parents and his nephew, Danny Filapello.

Dave is survived by his fiancé, Denise Carolin-Botz and her sons, Brenden and Austin; three sons, Nicholas (Beth) Santola, Gregory Santola and Chad (Shawna Parsnow) Santola; grandchildren, Jordyn, Isaiah, Dylan, Levi, Callie, Alexandra and Roland; sisters, Linda (Dan) Dempster and Shelley (Curt) Williams and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 6th from 3-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 7th at 10am at the funeral home, with burial to follow in North Syracuse Cemetery.
