David Pugh, 70, of Syracuse passed away on December 8, 2022, after a brief illness.
David was a Marine right out of high school. David also drove taxi for many years in the town of Syracuse. David loved working the New York state fair.
David loved his wrestling.
David has been a big part of the DAV for many years.
David loved his great nephew and called them his boys. David always said Caleb and Romeo are what keep him alive. David loved teaching Caleb and Romeo how to swim and taking them to the duck pound in Syracuse. David took them boys everywhere with him.
David loved everyone and will be greatly miss by all who knew him.
He is predeceased by His wife Caralon Pugh; Parents, David and Lillian Pugh; 3 Great Nieces and 5 Siblings; Cheryl Bolieau Hope and Harmony McCullough.
David is survived by Brandi Koss-Wingard and Fiance Raul Rivera of Bristol CT and her children Caleb, Cunningham, Romeo Wingard, Geoffrey Bolieau and Clayton Cunningham of CT, Clinton Williams, Fred Lawson, Christopher Linney and his wife Tanika and their 2 sons, Isaac Linney and Brayden Linney of Syracuse; Extended family Matthew Bareon and his son Jaxion Barron and Heather Wollman, and son Zayden Wollman Of Bristol CT; his best friend Donna Booth; 2 Nieces, Jessica Hughes and her Fiance Dustin Youmans of Syracuse.; and 3 brothers and 3 sisters all of Syracuse.
Calling hours for David will be on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm with a military service to follow.
In lieu of flowers memorial contribution in David's name may be made to DAV Chapter 30.
