David W. Phillips
August 29, 1950 — January 23, 2023
After a lengthy illness, Dave passed away on January 23, 2023 at St. Josephs Hospital. Dave spent a great part of his working life at Rollway Bearing as a precision grinder. He also served for many years on their emergency response team. Dave was very proud of serving on the team. Music and reading were a big part of his life. He loved debating with people on many subjects including psychology.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Audrey Phillips, and his loving dear Max.
He is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer (Cody) Rouzee and Emily Phillips; and two grandchildren, Joey and Colton.
No services have been planned at this time. Donations would be appreciated to the Helping Hounds Dog Rescue, North Syracuse.
