David P. Miller, 85, of Brewerton, passed away peacefully with his family by his side July 24, 2022. David was born in Syracuse, New York on March 18, 1937 to Howard and Ethel Miller.
David retired from Otis Elevator, after 34 years of service. He served in the US Navy aboard the U.S.S. Wisconsin. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, car racing, attending antique car cruises, woodworking and enjoyed spending time with his family. David was a jack-of-all-trades, could repair anything and loved helping others.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Howard P. and Ethel D. Miller.
He is survived by his loving Wife of 64 years, Carolyn "Carol" Miller; Son, Steven D. (Marla) Miller; Twin Daughters, Karen (Dan) Skinner, Sharon (Don) Colvin; Grandchildren, Pariss (Tim) Puchalski, Sterling Miller, Brittany Rawson, Tiffany Rawson; Great Grandchildren, Sophia, Aubree, Gabriel, Elias, Maleah, and Brielle; and several Close Friends.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse, 705 N. Main St, Syracuse, where funeral services will follow at 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Humane Association of CNY at 4915 W. Taft Rd, Liverpool, NY.
