David G Madison, 62, of Fayetteville, passed away with his wife by his side on January 28, 2018. David was born in Syracuse, New York on March 28, 1955 to the late John and Catherine Madison. David retired in 2011.In his free time, he loved music, poetry, and old movies. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John Madison, and Paul Madison. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Charlene M Madison; three sisters, Erin (Horst) Hoffmann, Mary (Miguel) Rodriguez-Gort, and Shannon (Thomas) Kane; three step-daughters, Kimberly (Dean) Vanderwege, Theresa (Douglas) Reaume, and Heather Yablonski; a step-son, Scott (Kimberly) Lee; grandchildren, Dean, Marcus, Amber, Jessica, Brett, Jacob, Alexandra, and Amanda; and great-grandchild, J.J, Graeson, and Jayden. Family and friends may call on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 9:00 am-10:00 am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse, where funeral services will be held at 10:00 am. Interment will be made at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Fayetteville. Memorial contributions may be made to HumaneCNY.
His grandson Dean said it best: "Now the world is a little less funny."
