David W. Lochner, 71 of Syracuse, NY passed away peacefully on February 13, 2021 with his family by his side.
Born on April 29th, 1949 in Syracuse, NY to the late William and Dorothy Lochner.
He worked in Social Security Administration for many years, until receiving his Master's Degree from Syracuse University, which led to a teaching career in the Syracuse City School District. David was an avid sports fan, who loved Syracuse Athletics, the NY Giants and the LA Dodgers. He loved playing and officiating sports throughout his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family, boating and fishing on the St. Lawrence River.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Colleen Lochner; children, Matthew (Mindy) Lochner and Caitlin Lochner; grandchildren, Elliott and Griffin Lochner; siblings, Diane Bilecki, Fred (Jeanne) Lochner, Nancy Lochner, Suzi (Lee) Kistler, Anne (Jeff) Sheldon, Chris (Kimberly) Lochner and Eric Lochner and many nephews and cousins.
