David G. Liedka

David G. Liedka, beloved husband and father passed away on October 26, 2022. He was a kind, generous and loving man who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He was born on January 28, 1946 to Hazel and Francis Liedka. He loved woodworking and made beautiful furniture, music boxes and many other items. He could fix or build almost anything and renovated several homes. He loved his dogs and his home on Owasco Lake.

David is survived by his wife of 23 years, Linda Becker; his daughters Carrie Uhl, Elizabeth Martin and Lauren Logan DeMarzo; five grandchildren, Amanda, Julie, Alycen, David and Jonathan and one great grandson, Asher. He is also survived by his two sisters Lenore and Joan and his two brothers Robert and Jerry.

David was predeceased by his first wife of 33 years, Melanie Liedka and his brothers Francis and James Liedka.

Our hearts are broken and it was a joy to have him as part of our lives. We will love and honor his memory.

Calling hours will be October 31, 2022 from 4 pm to 6 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funeral in North Syracuse.
