David E. Lessard

David E. Lessard, 94, of Cicero, NY passed away peacefully on April 7th, 2025. David was born on July 10th, 1930 in Lincoln, NH. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served from 1948-1954, during the Korean Conflict. David married his childhood sweetheart, Vivian, on February 25th, 1951, while stationed at McClellan Air Force Base, in Sacramento, CA. He graduated from college with an Engineering degree and began work at GE until his retirement in 1992, after 35 years.

David was a devoted husband, Dad and Grandpa and loved spending time with his family. He was an avid fly fisherman and bowler. His favorite past time was driving Vivian around to local craft shows. David was also known to lend a helping hand to his neighbors. Whether it was mowing lawns, raking leaves or even shoveling snow, he was always there.

David is survived by his loving wife, of 74 years, Vivian (Goss). His 5 children: Pamela (Frederick) Huntley, Cheryl (David) Phillips, Gregory (Christine) Lessard, James (Rachael) Lessard, Denise (Howard) Dinet. 10 Grandchildren: Matthew Huntley, Abby Huntley, Shannon Moriarty, Daniel Jenner, Taylor Lessard, Zachary Lessard, Megan Kmetz, David Lessard, Michael Wood, Larissa Wood. 13 Great- Grandchildren and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren.

There will be no services. Burial will be a private ceremony at a later date.
