David P. Law

David Patrick Law, 73, passed away on October 23, 2024, in Syracuse, New York. Born on July 12, 1951, David's quick wit and humor brought joy to all who knew him. He deeply cherished his family and his beloved dogs, Zoey and Charlie.

David proudly served in the United States Army, dedicating himself with the same passion he applied to all aspects of his life. After his military service, he embarked on a successful career at General Motors/Saturn, where he worked for 30 years until his retirement.

David's love for fishing and travel often found him adventuring with his family, creating lasting memories. At home, he was a devoted husband to Shelley for 54 years and a loving father to his sons, Christopher and Andrew Law, and daughter, Amy Law-Heilig, and proud Grandfather to Jordan, Joshua, Andrew, Avery and Alexander.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Millie Moore and George Law. David's legacy continues through his family and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In honor of David's love for animals, the family requests that donations be made to HumaneCNY, 450 W. Taft Road, Liverpool, NY 13088, in lieu of flowers. David's life will be cherished privately, as per his wishes, with no memorial service.
