David P. Lasky

August 16, 1938 — November 23, 2016

David P. Lasky, 78 of Central Square, passed away peacefully after battling a long illness.

He was born and raised in Syracuse and lived in Watertown, NY for 15 years.
He was an avid hockey fan, player, referee and coach in Watertown, NY. He worked for Good Year Tires for 38 years, retiring in 2001. David loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and gardening.

Survivors include his wife, who was his childhood sweetheart, Hilda; two children, Susan (Roy) Minasian and Christopher Lasky; four grandchildren, Brandi (Shane) Hankey, Jason Lasky, Megan Lasky and Joshua Lasky; nine great grandchildren; two siblings, Barry (Joann) Lasky and Sharon Mason; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is predeceased by his daughter, Deborah and his son, David; two brothers, Jack and Mark Lasky.

Calling hours will take place Monday 4-9PM at New Comer Funeral Home, North Syracuse.

Funeral services will be Tuesday 11AM at New Comer.

Interment will be private.
