David J. "Dave" Gillan, 58, of North Syracuse, passed away on Monday at Crouse Hospital with family by his side. He was born on May 21, 1954 son of Edward and Shirley Ryan Gillan. On July 24, 1982 he was married to Karen Gilmour in DeWitt. Dave most recently worked at Lowe's and previously CNC Supervisor at Kilian Manufacturing for 31 years. He was a former member of the Syracuse Pistol Club and helped run the Kilian Golf League.
Surviving are his wife, Karen, son David A. Gillan, daughter, Danielle R. Gillan, 2 nephews; Jason and Zachary Gillan, aunt & uncle, along with cousins.
Graveside services will be held on Friday 11am at Pine Plains Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
