David Michael Flansburg, 30, of Liverpool, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 1, 2016.
He had previously been employed at the Bryne Dairy Plant. David was born on June 29, 1986 with a loving and generous heart. He enjoyed all kinds of music. He entertained friends and family with his great singing voice, fabulous sense of humor and wonderful dance steps. David was a loyal NY Giants and S.U. sports fan. He loved animals, especially his dog, Scruffy, and his cat, Angel. David loved children, his niece and nephews were the light of his life, and they adored him.
David is survived by his father, Owen (Butch) Flansburg; his mother, Christine Kriesel Flansburg; his sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Chad Armstrong; his niece, Chloe, and nephews, Jayden and Elijah; several close aunts, uncles, cousins and great friends, too many to name.
David is now at peace in heaven and has joined his paternal grandparents, Eric and Bernice Flansburg; maternal grandparents, Harvey and Margaret Kriesel; and other loved ones, Keith, Kenny Joe, Randy Jr., Michael, and Chet.
Family and friends may call at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse, from 4 to 7 pm on Friday, 12/9 with memorial service at 7 pm.
There will be a celebration of David's life immediately following at Mattydale VFW, 2000 Lemoyne Avenue, Syracuse, NY.
