David M. Birmingham

July 25, 1951 — November 25, 2016

David M. Birmingham, 65, of Central Square, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a long battle with brain cancer.

David served honorably in the U.S. Army as a wheel and track mechanic during the Vietnam War. He was an avid NY Giants fan. David enjoyed working outdoors on his beloved land.

He was predeceased by his father, Walter J. Birmingham.

David is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Kathy; mother, Barbara; three daughters, Michele (Bob) Lamb, Tawny (Ryan) Cram and Nicole (Christopher) Kane; seven grandchildren, Samantha, Sophia and Sabrina Lamb, Dakota, Jennika and Madisyn Cram and Ginny Kane; three brothers, four sisters and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Tuesday 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday 11AM at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the spring.

David will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
