David C. Birchmeyer

January 2, 1955 — May 10, 2019

David C. Birchmeyer, 64, of Liverpool passed away on Friday at St. Camillus. David was born in Syracuse and a life resident of the area. He was a member of the Christian Life Assembly Church in Syracuse and attended the Community Options Program in East Syracuse. David, affectionately known as "Big Daddy", was a friendly, outgoing person who was known to many. He earned the title "Mayor of Park Street" when he previously resided in the neighborhood and his presence was well known. He was a fixture in the area. David loved people and will be missed by many.
David was predeceased by his parents, Lottie and Howard and brother, Tom.

David is survived by his sisters, Suzanne Catalano of Syracuse, Brenda Giacchi of Liverpool; brothers, Paul of Manlius, Dennis and Michael of Syracuse and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, May 15th 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service to follow at 7pm.

Contributions may be made in his memory to Community Options.
