Daryl A. Schmigel, 56 of Erieville passed away on Sunday at Upstate University Hospital, with his loving family at his side. He was born on June 16, 1957 in Syracuse, son of the late Roy & Geraldine Schmigel. Daryl was a NASCAR Fan and enjoyed hunting. He was predeceased by his son, John and his twin sister, Doreen.
Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Sheila (Doxtator), 3 sons: Adam, Justin & Daryl, 3 daughters: Shasta (Jesse) Kaulfers, Maranda (Earl) McCormick & Tia, 7 grandchildren, along with 3 brothers, Bill, Phil & Gary.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1-4pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, 13212, with services to follow.
Donations may be made to the family.
