Darlene H. Storsberg

Darlene H. Storsberg, 66, of Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly on August 13th. She was born in Ogdensburg, NY to the late Marjorie and Carl Hanna. Darlene grew up in Rensselaer Falls, NY and graduated from Heuvelton High School. Darlene earned an Associates Degree from Canton ATC, a Bachelor's from Potsdam State and worked on a a Master's Degree from Syracuse University. She taught elementary education briefly before becoming an employee at Syracuse Developmental Center aiding the developmentally disabled. Darlene enjoyed reading, concerts, and watching movies; especially the Wizard of Oz.

She was predeceased by her sister, Kathleen Hanna.

Darlene is survived by her two daughters, Lisa (Charles House) Storsberg and Michelle (Sara Carmichael) Storsberg; former husband, John Storsberg; grandsons, Devlin and Parker House; brother, Gary Hanna and nephews, Joshua and Jeremy Hanna.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 20th 4-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals.
