Danny P. Landry, 54, of Liverpool, NY, passed away March 9, 2022 at home.
Danny was born in Waltham, Massachusetts on April 14, 1967 to the late Donat and Marie Landry.
Danny worked for many years as a Master Certified Marine Mechanic for PEC. In his free time he enjoyed boating and relaxing on Sandy Pond, playing paintball, RC cars and tinkering with any engine he could find.
He was a graduate of Ecole Polyualente Clement-Cormier High School (Canada) and Seminole Community College (Florida) where he graduated with his Marine Mechanics degree.
He served proudly in the United State Air Force during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Prior to that he was in the 650 Vanier Air Cadets and The Militia – 8th Canadian Hussars Reserves Unit.
He was predeceased by his father in law, Frank E. Snow.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Stephanie Landry; daughter, Samantha Landry of Liverpool; son, Jacob Landry of Liverpool; brother, Andy (Nicole) Landry of Canada; two sisters, Pauline (Robert) Lange of Florida, Doreen (Brian) Stote of Canada; mother in law, Dorothy Snow of Liverpool; brother in law, Ronald Snow of Whitesboro; sister in law, Rebecca Snow of Tennessee; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family wishes to extend sincere gratitude to Chris, Danny's heart donor, and his family for their selfless act 2 years ago. They gave us precious time with Danny. We are forever grateful. The doctors at The Paul Yu Heart Center at Strong Memorial Hospital, Dr. Sabu Thomas, Dr. Christine Hay, the nurses and staff of the 4th floor at Strong and Merridith Leigh, our Heart transplant coordinator, for all the excellent care and support given to Danny and his family.
Calling hours are Saturday, March 19, from 11am-1pm, with a service to follow at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse.
