Daniel Frederick Young

Daniel Frederick Young, 85, of Brewerton, passed away on Wednesday. Born in Phoenix, NY to Carl and Ellen (Radway) Young. Dan served in the U.S. Air Force and later worked as an auto mechanic for over 50 years. He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Phoenix where he served on the Trustees and was a member of its Men's Club. He was an avid SU basketball and racing fan.

Dan was predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Carolyn (Parker) Young.

He is survived by his two daughters, June Kraus and Joy (Andy) Hunold; grandchildren, Brennan and Kassidy Kraus and Benjamin and Holly Hunold and three great grandsons, Hunter, Silas and Rowan.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 25th 10am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service to follow at 12pm. Burial will take place in Phoenix Rural Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Helping Hounds or to Clear Path for Veterans.
