Daniel V. Dunn
March 30, 1955 – August 12, 2013

Danny passed away quietly at home after a courageous battle with cancer. He is predeceased by his mother Alice Dunn and father John Dunn.

Born in Syracuse, he graduated from Central Tech and then joined the Navy. He served his country on board the USN Submarine SSBN 620 out of Portsmouth Navy Shipyard. After he left the Navy he worked for and retired from Fannie Mae where he was a computer programer. He developed a program that they still use today.

After his retirement he rode his Harley solo across the United States visiting many National Parks. He loved every moment of his trip. He leaves behind many good riding friends and relatives along with his cats Andy and Miss Kitty. Dan was a good friend to all who knew him and we will miss him dearly.

Dan did not want a service but liked the idea of his friends getting together at the Dinosaur in Syracuse and having a drink in his memory. Please join us on Saturday the 31st from 1:30 to 4 pm upstairs to share a drink and some memories of Dan's life.

We would like to thank the Syracuse VA Hospital for the wonderful care he received from them. We would also like to thank Hospice Of CNY. and homehealth aids; without their support, help and compassion; we would not been able to grant Dan his final request of staying at home his remaining days. Thank-you .

In lieu of flowers please make a donation in memory of Dan to Hospice Of CNY or the SPCA.
