Daniel W. Ptak, 78, of Baldwinsville, passed away June 15, 2022. Daniel was born in Syracuse, New York on April 26, 1944 to the late Bert and Mary Ptak.
Daniel retired from Onondaga County Sheriff's Department after serving from 1971-2011. An avid Buffalo Bills and Syracuse University fan, Dan also enjoyed reading in his free time.
He was preceded in death by his Brother, Gerald Ptak.
He is survived by his Wife of over 50 years, Kathleen Ptak; Daughter, Maureen (Scott) Wierzbicki; Three Sons, Kevin (Victoria) Ptak, Sean (Kimberly) Ptak, Ryan Ptak; Three grandchildren, Emily, Nolan and Natalie; Sister, Marguerite Vinciguerra and Brother, Robert Ptak.
a private celebration of life will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2022.
