Daniel "Dan" I. Hooge, age 91 of Syracuse, NY passed away peacefully on Monday, December 7, 2020. Dan was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth "Nancy" Hooge.
Dan is survived by his daughter, Danette (Steven) Romano and Nancy (Charles) Nepage; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Jodi) Grevelding, Jr., and Jennifer (Heath) Woodruff; seven great-grandchildren all who called him "Boppa".
Dan proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed yearly vacations to Florida. He was a huge fan of Disney and photography. He was a loving husband, father, Boppa and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of Dan's life will be held at a later date to be announced with military honors. He will be laid to rest in Valley Cemetery, Syracuse, NY.
