Daniel "Dan" Castellano, 88, of Fulton, NY passed away on February 17, 2024 at St. Joseph's Hospital, surrounded by loving family.
Daniel was born on December 12, 1935, in Syracuse, son of the late Daniel and Clara Castellano. He retired at the age of 65 and was a proud member of the Teamsters Union. He continued working full time to stay busy and active. He was always very ambitious, enjoyed working outdoors, and spending time with family. He also appreciated classic cars and had a vast collection of model cars. He loved to tell stories of his many experiences in life. Most would describe Daniel as the most remarkable man they ever knew.
He was also predeceased by his son, Joseph Wolfe.
He is survived by his children, Richard (Tammy) Castellano, Judy Elfering, Jim Castellano, Ron Castellano, his former wife Pamela "Lola" Wolfe and and their children Sandirose (Michael) Lorenc, Angellica (Brianna) Castellano, Nickolas (Theresa) Castellano, Nattalie (Charles) Castellano, and Sallyjayn (Jayce) Castellano, along with many grandchildren and his beloved dog Toby.
Visitation will be held on Friday February 23, 2024 from 4-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705
N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with a service at 6pm. Committal services will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date.
