Daniel C. Hines

Daniel C. Hines, 69 of Constantia, passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family.
Daniel was a combat photographer for The U.S. Army during The Vietnam War serving two tours, where he was a Sergeant in the 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles. Daniel was retired from Syracuse University where he acquired the name "Candy Man".
Survivors include his three children, Charles, Tammy and Melissa; granddaughter, Kathryn; Nancy Stewart (ex-wife/current girlfriend); brother, James Hines and numerous extended family and friends.
Calling hours will take place on Saturday 1-4PM at New Comer Funeral Home.
Services will follow 4PM at funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The VA Medical Center, Syracuse.
