Daniel Burnard

Daniel Burnard, 77, passed away on July 14, 2019 after a brief illness at home with his family by his side. He was born on March 1, 1942 in Fulton, NY to the late Henry and Gladys (Hutchinson) Burnard. Daniel was a resident of Solvay, NY for 42 years.

Daniel enjoyed going to the casino and bingo for fun. He was a true animal lover. He fed "his" squirrels and birds daily. He also had a big heart for all dogs and made sure he seen all of the family's dogs every day. He was heartbroken when we lost Queenie. Most of all, Daniel valued all of the time he could spend with the family. He loved holidays, family trips, cookouts, and any occasion to be with his wife, kids, grandchildren, and great granddaughter.

Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Weaver) Burnard of 50 years; daughter Yvette Edwards; son, Daniel Burnard Jr.; daughter, Annette Devereaux; grandchildren, Jessica, Jamie, Ashley, Matthew, Alexa; great granddaughter Rylee; brothers, Henry (Junior) and Kenneth; sisters, Betty and Fran; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, William, Bobby, George, and Donny; sisters, Deloris, and Mary.

Per Daniel's request, there will be no services.
