Dan Weishaar, 69, of North Syracuse, passed away January 30, 2025, surrounded by family. He was born in Buffalo, NY on March 30, 1955 to William and Alicia Weishaar.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Pengate Handling Systems in 2021.
Dan was a true character. He was unapologetically himself and didn't care what people thought about him. To know him was to love him. He was a devoted family man, who always gave his all. He was always there and you always felt his love.
Dan loved loud music, especially ELO. He was an avid Notre Dame fan. He enjoyed spending time with family. He also enjoyed hanging out with his neighbors. Most of all, he loved cuddling with his cat, Missy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; William and Alicia; brother, Kurt; and his wife, the love of his life, Pam (Pooh).
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Michael) Fay; granddaughter, Kristen; grandson, Josh; sister, Sharon (Tony) Rivalie and a long line of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 11 am at North Syracuse Cemetery.
