Dale C. Woolson, 61, of Syracuse, passed away suddenly at her home. She was a social worker, alcohol and substance abuse counselor and educator of HIV and prevention of infectious diseases. Her work at ACR for the past five years included prevention education with inmates. One of her passions was to build awareness for the use of Narcan within the community. Dale's heart and spirit will always be at camp "Red Lake".
Dale is survived by her wife, Kimberly Barone; stepson, Ryan (Ashley) Barone; brother, Stewart (Paula) Woolson; sister, Coreen "Cory" (Stuart Boice) Woolson; nephews, Brian (Vanessa) Woolson and Quincy Stockton.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 7PM.
