Dakota Storm Williams

Dakota Storm Williams, 25, formerly of Cleveland, currently of New York Mills, passed away unexpectedly on July 27, 2023. Dakota was born in Syracuse, New York on June 13, 1998 to Scott Williams and Michelle Walsh. Dakota was employed with UPS in New Hartford NY as a package loader. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved hiking and fishing. Dakota had a dream of swimming with sharks. In his free time, he enjoyed running, playing sports including soccer, golf, and basketball, and had a true love for photography. Dakota especially loved spending quality time with his family including his nieces, nephew and siblings. He cherished his family, friends and pets, Bailey, Tippy, Chloe, Boomer, Bella and Naomi.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Edith Mallory; grandmother, Susan Soule; uncle, Leonard Soule III and great grandparents.

Dakota is survived by his mother, Michelle Walsh; step father, Robert Walsh; father, Scott Williams; sister, Breanna (Tommy); brothers, Scotty (Kaylee), Skyler (Diana) and Dante Williams; grandfather, Leonard J. Soule Jr.; aunts, Danielle (Scott) Cole, Cherylanne Smith and Wendy Williams; uncle, Steve (Marilyn) Williams; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, stepbrothers and stepsister.

Calling hours will be held, Thursday August 3rd, 2023 from 4-8pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals. A funeral service will be held the following morning, Friday, August 4th, at 10:00am. Burial will be made in Assumption Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Dakota's memory to Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation.
