Cyril E. Baxter, Sr., 77, of Mattydale, passed away on Wednesday June 28, 2023, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Cyril was born in Oswegatchie, NY on May 17, 1946 son of the late Howard and Greta Baxter. Cyril retired after 45 years from Armstrong Mold Corp. in East Syracuse. Cyril was predeceased by his siblings; Betty Richards, Donald Baxter, Clara Shanahan, Eleanor Jeanette, William Baxter, Mildred Baxter.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Esther Baxter, children, Howard Baxter (Peggy), Lynn Baxter (Andrew), Cyril Baxter, Jr. (Tasha), 5 grandchildren, Telishia, Dajia, Howard, William, Owen, 2 great grandchildren, Isla, Madison, his siblings, Francis Baxter, Phyllis Baxter, Charles Baxter, Ann (Mark) Smith, Edward (Terry) Baxter, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
