Cynthia R. Atkins

Cynthia Atkins, 64, of Syracuse, passed away just after midnight on September, 25, 2019 with her husband by her side.

Cynthia was born on July 31,1955 to John & Margaret Neider. She was a spirited woman, and loved her family with all of her heart. She loved the words "I love you", and always stated them with conviction. She was a fighter, strong willed, and she loved the beauty in life. She loved flowers (particularly roses) and music.

Cindy had faced many challenges in recent years including multiple surgeries and intense pain throughout all of them. She is now in a better place without pain to join her loved ones that are there, and more in the future.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Atkins; sons, David, Bobby, & Dylan; siblings, John, Tim, Deb, Judy, & Ricky; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Calling hours will take place at New Comer, 705 North Main Street, Syracuse, NY 13212 on Sunday, September 29th from 2-5PM. Funeral Service will be on Monday September 30th at 11AM at New Comer followed by her burial at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Dewitt, NY.
