Curtis A. McDowell 79, was born January 31, 1933 in Greensboro, NC and departed life on July 23, 2012 in North Syracuse, NY. Curtis was a Korean War Veteran. He was a retired Engineer from GE.
Curt was a loving supportive son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was the Patriach of the McDowell/Burwell Clan. Preceded in death by his parents: Annie B. Burwell and Graham Burwell Jr. /Calvin McDowell and siblings, Wilkie W. McDowell and Glen R. McDowell.
Survived by his loving wife Shirley J. McDowell.
Daughters: Victoria Latham-Wright, Michelle Caston (Diano), Tracy "Kiwi" McDowell, Tonya Elizabeth Vido (Kristin), Bridget Royal (Kevin) Ava Darisaw (Earl), Kimberley Royal (Kereeb). Sons: Curtis A. McDowell Jr. and Shawn Royal (Christina).
Siblings: Angela P. McDowell, Rhonda Parker (Darnell) and Graham A. Burwell III (Terry), 22 grandchildren & 10 Great grandchildren.
A host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
